Gator Game Day: LSU At The Swamp (7:30 pm--10/11/14)

Does anyone think JD is up to the challenge in the second half? I don't even think the team thinks he can do it. There's only one person who thinks he can....Muschump.

Halftime over already? Only time I don't feel disgusted and full of foreboding.
Well, Here it comes.
That's how it feels ALL THE TIME now, as games progress--and I REALLY feel it here now. Don't y'all?
I have absolutely no faith or hope for us here.
I expect only pain, frustration, disappointment--DOOM.
Hope Hargreaves is not too badly hurt. Wish we coul;d see Treon in there (do you know, I think Muschamp's GLAD he kept Treon "inactive", not "even now, but "especially now". That's the kind of f*cked up tight-assed fool I think he is now...)

Let's face one of MANY "bottom lines" here:
The ONLY times we've seen a long pass thrown and CAUGHT by our Gators for literally SERVERAL YEARS has been when TREON HARRIS was in there and throwing it. I am completely sick of hearing about how he runs, how he is "accurate short and medium", and how he "has to make better decisions, but it isn't all his fault...".
Jeff Driskel is a serviceable BACKUP QB at this level, kinda kid you demote LONG before now and bring in ONLY to mop up or in case of injury to your STARTER--who SO OBVIOUSLY should be (if not for Muschamp blindness, cowardly and/or dithering Will Muschamp, by now experienced) Treon Harris, it is just one more piece of evidence as to his failure and inability at this level, in this job. He'll catch on as a DC somewhere fairly big (or a HEAD Coach somewhere desperate AND quite a bit further down the pecking-order, IF they can afford to outbid a larger school that'll pay him pretty good DC money--that's how this game is played now, the"hiring" game, that is), but the important thing as far as WE'RE concerned is, HE'LL BE GONE!!!
I'm for firing him mid-season now and letting Roper have a crack at things--no matter what their long term ideas are. Ya don't lie to Kurt, you tell him of your long-range efforts, but you give him the chance, if he wants it, understanding that neither wild success nor continued slide will change anything: If "the next guy" wants him he'll stay, if not, well, that;ll be that--but he gets a SHOT at controlling his own destiny. Even if it doesn't earn him a permanent job, it might well be his big time audition for his NEXT job elsewhere. Little to lose, lots to gain--for him AND us.
And we're rid of Muschamp.

I'm with you on that. Of course, I've been there for a while. Send the Chump packing ASAP.

That last pick, whewre JD had Robinson WIDE open for the TD but underthrew him, is the final indictment of both he and Muschamp--because it is so typical and PREDICTABLE. You knew that's what he would do, given the "opportunity"...Driskel NEVER makes the big throw, HOWEVER long or short.
And btw, Muschamp says (coming out) that "that 1st turnover killed us, ruined our chance to really take control of this game..." Yeah, Coach, every one else's fault, never the team you built, the players you play, the constraints you put on them or anything ELSE you do or have control over...And now we have to depend on the adjustments you and YOUR staff make out there?
So, whose fault will the LOSS be?

No flag on the "obvious interference"--except the ball (as usual) was "uncatchable" long, that's why no flag. You don't even HAVE top defend the long pass when Driskel's in there--and that's how teams come to play us by the 2nd half...I guess they just don't believe he;s that bad until they see hikm in person, THEN they play the long pass "with contempt" in the SECOND half. It's a friggin' joke, our passing game, with JD at QB. So let's see: He fumbles when he runs. He can't throw long. Our receivers drop easy med ands short ones. Now the Tigers are finally starting to move the ball.
No, I don't think we're rid of Muschamp after this impending loss. More's the pity--but I don';t think Foley himself knows WHAT to do...He may well be gone too, BECAUSE of that.
Hargreaves in street clothes--means he's gonna be out a while--so not just today, but possibly the rest of the season , we are that much worse--missing his sacks and presence out there. You're seeing it now. Get used to this.
Look at the schedule. At MOST, maybe 3 more wins this season.

I'm telling you all now--I stayed around here at home to hang and run this with you, but I'm GONE once we lose the lead (interference blows the 3rd down stop--LL the classic Gator breaqk-downs now--and Muschamp over there freakin' glarin', "Hey Coach, LOOK IN THE MIRROR WITH THAT SHIT!") Giving up the penalty 1st down on a 3rd-and-17 overthrow...we don't get those calls, but in that sorta situation, just a bit closer, they will, and do.
Force the delay-of-game on 3rd and short...If they don't take the lead here, it's only 'cause THEY aren't very good either...but sooner or later here, they will.

Aw man, this is as bad as I expected--but the pain is even worse. I can't DO this game in, game out. We really suck, and all that's made it at ALL bearable has been the 2 wins-in-spite-of-sucking.
NOT gonna happen today. Not with this succession of mistakes and general breakdowns. We're ESCORTING them into the endzone on this drive. There it is.
I will wait thru one more Gator-series, but failing something changing radically here, we have "surrendered the lead for good" (they miss the extra point--boy, they suck too--takes a real cosmic level-of-suckdom to LOSE this one, but we are, and will), and I'm outta here unless we retake the lead FAST. I'm not suffering thru a Muschamp-designed intentional "play for the field goal and hope to beat 'em at the end" stupidity-fest.

So very sad. Pity our players who have to suffer through this crap with this clueless head coach. Maybe this home loss will rile up the moneyed folks to get rid of Chumpy.

I'm only hangin' in to see if dumba$$ will make a change at QB.
Yeah--but if the announcers are right, won't be Treon, CAN'T be, even though he WAS again "eligible", according to school AND NCAA rules, but Muschamp didn't activate him. Like I said, he did that "for Driskel's sake" (bad enough move in itself), and really, "for Muschamp's sake". Coward, like I said.
Threw THAT one too hard. otherwise a nice gain for Taylor.
4th and SHORT, goin'...gets it.
Anyone else notice Jones hasn't hardly played? Still hurt from late last week? HE should be running those short ones.
We're back to 3rd and long again, and LSU doesn't HAVE to defend the pass here...
No flag! Wel, not as if I expect that play to EVER go with Driskel in there. Punt.

How many times can our incompetent boob coach watch our incompetent boob QB totally screw things up and not make a change??? I just can't understand it.

We are the laughing stock of college football. We are supposed to be an elite football college yet we have a QB how can't throw and receivers who can't catch a cold.
