Thoughts on Gators at Tennessee.

I will admit that I was impressed with the call to involve Gillislee more. He is the best true running back on our squad. Demps is the homerun hitter. But Gillislee is the every down back that we've been searching for. When Gillislee is hit, he falls forward and continues progress. He gets an extra few yards. That is what a real running back does. As much as I love Moody's character, he simply isn't a running back. He goes down too easily. His breaking instincts are too conservative. Demps and Gillislee need to be the running back duo on the squad. Use Demps on open plays. Use Gillislee when some hard yardage needs to be grinded out.

Guys, I keep having this feeling that were not showing all potential. Not opening up everything. I have this feeling that were going to give Bama an eye-opening. I hope this feeling is right.

I'm hoping that UF can beat Bama on emotion alone. Because we are not going to beat them on coaching. Coach Austin has shown absolute brilliance on his defensive calls. But Bama's coach Smart has also shown defensive brilliance. The disparity comes in offense. Florida is lacking in that department. It will be a defensive battle but Bama's offense will adjust to our defense while our offense will continue to run the same ineffective handful of plays that get stuffed down after down.
