Now, Billy runs 3 straight dives into the center of the line, they call their times out, then get the ball, make a coupla plays and kick the 3 to beat us.
Meanwhile we've lost a few more starters on BOTH sides of the line of scrimmage here today.

Time for the Gator offense to choke in the 2-minute drill.

Forgot about the 2 minute break.
Now's the time for our sole remaining RB, one Jaden Baugh, to save our collective asses.
It ain't fair--he's already done MORE than enough, but exhausted though he may be, he is our ONLY hope now to somehow preserve this miniscule lead and win this game.
It makes little difference in the larger scheme of things, but when it comes down to it, I just gotta go with our boys.

What a STUPID time to try to pass--when running it ONE YARD on 3rd and 1 seals the deal.
That has to be another Napier "empty brainstorm".
It is almost comical.

Only an INT can save us now.
Otherwise, well, WE ALL know what's supposed to come next.
These freshmen are just worn OUT.
And now comes the coup de gras.

I think it is time to just submit to the dark humor of the situation:
This game is thoroughly emblematic of our season:
(LAUGHING HILARIOUSLY )
Thanks to being out-self-destructed by a Bulldog team that did everything BUT win the game, one of the "Big Uglies" on our patchwork defense grabs the (frankly ill-advised) throw for an INT that snatches victory from impending defeat.
I'm laughing--but I'm also sort of strangely let down by the possibly that this bumbling outcome will no doubt be seized on by the likes of our useless Head Coach and A.D. tandem as "wait-a-minute evidebce", at the very LEAST reason not do ANYTHING for ANOTHER WEEK OR TWO...

The Gators did not deserve the win, but 375-pound defensive lineman Michai Boireau had other plans and intercepted Blake Shapen.

I'M "replying" to my own earlier near-end-of-game-post, one of several that were left hanging, awaiting later comment depending on what in fact actually ensued.
But as it turned out, it was the simplest one left lying there: An INT DID save us.

My only "last thoughts" here center on my concerns that "The FAR From Dynamic Duo" of Scot and Billy will no doubt somehow try to continue their "smoke and mirrors " routine on the way to further stalling what SHOULD have LONG since been put out of its misery.

YES-of COURSE!
I mean, do you NEVER learn, Sunbelt Bill?
But it DOES appear to again support the accusation that this dufus is trying to LOSE close games--consistently turning away from his own bankrupt offensive policy (a policy that is TRULY "offensive", by the way) to suddenly try foolishly ill-considered gambles at exacty the WRONG "crucial moments"!
And in si doing, his actions continue to seemingly support the impression that he is PURPOSEFULLY trying to find ways to LOSE CLOSE GAMES...To once again turn away from an otherwise successful gameplan (in THIS case, calling a run play for Baugh on 3rd and 1--on a play where a first down probably seals the win and the young man himself is in the middle of a CAREER DAY!).
I was stupified: In the middle of a long, old and angry groan the Absurdity of it all hit me and turned it to laughter--No shit!
By the time big ol' Micah dropped into coverage and unexpectedly picked off the INT that turned out to be the Gator GAME WINNER, I was laughing so hard my side hurt and there were tears in my eyes!
Not even BILLY'S absolutely ridiculous (and under the circumstances altogether absurd) "same old simple homilies and platitudes" as he was interviewed walking off the field after the final gun could not temper my uncontrolled lack of self-control at that point.
How can anyone BUT Stricklin still consider keeping this guy "the right move"???

But as far as discussing the matter, it appears we'll be far too engrossed and caught up in weighing options and generally entangled in the long and complicated task of identifying viable candidates for successfully REPLACING the dark comedic stylings of "Scot & Billy", the prankish Duo appointed to thoroughly SCREW the Gator Football Program lo these last four years--a project at which they have brilliantly SUCCEEDED.
Finding the right and perfectly effective "UNdoers" appears to be effectively impossible; I'd HAPPILLY accept some funky "IMPERFECT VERSION OF SAME" at this point, but is THAT realistically even AVAILABLE here in THIS strange slice of the multiverse?
Do we even DARE giving it a try?
And HOW (exactly) do we go about even doing THAT??!
