OGT 2025 - Week 8: Florida Gators vs Mississippi State Bulldogs

This is NOT any kind of team I presently care to follow, and this GAME is just one more example of the evidence continuing to mount as to where the responsibility lies.
Bing bang boom, they are about to take the lead back as we approach halftime.
And I just don't wanna CARE anymore.

Another failure to adjust in the slightest between halves.
We have had our BEST offensive performance statistically so far, and are basically LUCKY to be up 6 points, having posted just 13 points.
Once again, oh tmyez--WE ARE CLOSE...
And I am SICK of it, SO sick.
Sick to death.
How long before the Swamp crowd begins to boo the home team on offense?

D still coming through somehow...but they will tire as the offense continues to flounder.
We are the more TALENTED squad, but of course one that is being sloppily coached.
It just feels like an inevitability that MSU will overtake us on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter.
Even if we somehow eke out a close one, it continues to be the height of ouf habitual disappointingly unsatisfying play.

Baugh tearing if up out ghere--and remernber: He had 60 yard TD called back on an unnecessary holding call away from the play.
Meanwhile, DJ forces another ball he is lucky only falls incomplete.

In spite of it all, we are haltingly driving the field so far this time. Even DJ is hitting some of his passes again. Like the whole offense, he is up'n'down, hit or miss.

We can't even line up properly for a 2-pointer.
Typical of this staff--"illegal substitution--12 men on the field"...Gee, haven't we seen that before?

Whattaya think? One point loss?
That blown 2-point play might well be the difference.
I figure that unless we finally see the Gator offense score TD in the 4th quarter, that is exactly what is gonna happen.

Well, we are blowing the actual plays, but these Bulldogs continue to save us.
If we DON'T lose this it will be courtesy of MSU.
BUT NOT WITH CALLS LIKE THAT!

At the rate they've been able to score (when they have moved the ball at ALL), that "one point loss" is easily surrendered between now and the next under 7 minutes.

I know our secondary is handicapped (all freshmen subbing for injured starters)...but big play looks to be called back on the hold.
They're as mal-coached as WE are.

We gave up the long 4th down--by HALF A YARD (thanks to a missed tackles, naturally.
(Here comes that late 4th, exhausted-defense FADE.)

This is exactly the kind of loss I dreaded and hate most of all. Another poor call on the field on this TD--receiver was DEFINITELY outta bounds, but call on the field may rule here.

Our only hope here is the TIME that is being burned by all this.
