Why didn't Urban call a timeout sooner at the end?

Why did Urban blow 29 seconds off the click before calling a timeout at the end of the game? We could have had a chance for 2-3 more plays on the last series.

What was he thinking?

What a bonehead move by Meyer. Sometimes I wonder how great a coach he really is? 29 seconds is a long ass time in college football.

I love Meyer but i have to agree on this it wasn't very smart. The clock stops every first down anyway so timeouts are not as big a deal as in the NFL.
