The two-week spring transfer portal will be open through April 30th. The Gators have 86 scholarship players with 3 who will report in after graduating high school. At the very least expect 5 transfers out, 1 transfer in, and a walk-on promotion.

Transfer Portal Spring 2024

The Florida Gators have landed their first commitment from the transfer portal. Former Air Force tight end Caleb Rillos plans to enroll at the University of Florida and will walk on to the football team. Rillos graduated from the Air Force in three years and wants to pursue a Master of Science in mechanical engineering.
Rillos will have two years of eligibility because he finished his undergraduate degree at USAFA in only three years. He will report as a walk-on because he graduated and commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant.

The Gators need a receiver to provide veteran experience on a relatively young receiver corps. Note that the Gators signed Ricky Pearsall this time two years ago. Whom should the Gators sign this year?
