What a roller coaster first half!

Trask is setting some records, but the defense needs to hold.

I'm loving this ass whipping we are giving the dogs. Would love to see us drop 60 on them.

Oh oh. UF defense MAY be tiring: They are starting to look like EARLY SEASON Gator (non-)D.
If they can just STOP THEM HERE, and get to the 4th qrtr UP 20 pts we might be OK—but looking weaker and weaker now...

But D is weakening now. We NEED a turnover badly now.

DAMN! He was wide open. Missed on the deep coverage completely.
We are in a fight now.
We must score a touchdown now, preferably after a long drive—but we’ll take it no matter how or WHEN it comes now.

Really need to open that nice lead back up! Have they said anything about Pitts?
I mean, I didn’t really EXPECT him back, but it is starting to look like we will NEED HIM AFTER ALL.
If they catch us it’ll be because we couldn’t score a TD in the 2nd half; and THAT would mean that taking out Pitts was the “key move”, no matter WHAT anyone says about it.
I’d like to know how he is and what’s the diagnosis/prognosis (concussion? “day-to-day”? WHAT?).

    Starting to look like A&M game;
    I can’t watch.

Unless our D grabs a turnover PRONTO, we fade and LOSE this one.
    Yikes.

I just got an ebike, haven’t hardly used it yet except to run to HEB for groceries—so I decided to climb on and go for a ride. Silly, but it was getting to me.
Will ride back home soon, but meanwhile am not following game...
Someone give me GOOD news for Gators, should we score or something, OK?

Why they didn’t take that fg there I do NOT understand. I know the thinking, but without Pitts we just aren’t NEAR as dangerous.
We MAY still win this (spin around 3 times and spit!), but we have GOT to get Pitts back...
    YES! Pick!!!
That may do it here...run it IN, boys!

    Alright:
Kick this one thru and we (finally) WIN one of these!
    GOOD.
We are up 16 pts with just over a minute left—and UGA with no Times-out left.
    The main concern NOW is:
“WHEN DO WE GET PITTS BACK??!”

Our game...Long as Pitts comes back OK, and SOON, maybe still “our season” after all.
Congratulations, GATORS—ESPECIALLY after going down 14 pts to START the game!

Oddly enough, the Gators fared better than Alabama. Trask set a record, but ended 8 yards shy of Tebow’s record. My guess of 41-24 was not far off!

Though the rest did JUST ENOUGH to “not LOSE it” after he went down, you could SEE how much we missed him, how much less we could do on offense after Pitts was knocked out...In the 2nd half, it was (barely) our DEFENSE that made the difference, allowed us to hold that lead—a “lead” we wouldn’t have HAD if not for Trask having Pitts to help him open up EVERYTHING ELSE THAT BUILT THAT LEAD in the FIRST HALF (AFTER going down 14 pts to START THINGS!)...We deserved the win, but do NOT overlook how IMPORTANT Pitts is to Trask and the smooth running of that whole OFFENSE.

Though I have up-til-now always resisted the temptation to answer some of these loud-“mouthed” Bulldog trolls on some of the larger sites (ours, theirs, those that focus on the whole SEC), I’ll be sorely tempted THIS COMING WEEK, I’m sure. But I will continue to TRY...It is, in the final analysis, enough to be...NO—“IT’S GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR!!!”
