Urban Meyer’s post-practice notes: Jeff Demps practices, Andre Debose could be more

im worried that demps isnt going to be 100% for saturday. from what were hearing it seems almost impossible for him to be 100% but we can hope for the best i suppose.

Give Gillislee the extra reps. He's the best true RB we have on the team. He can actually break an arm tackle.

Exactly. They use him as the short yardage guy but if they would use him on first down then they would have a bunch of second and shorts to work with. That opens up the play book a lot.

Definitely use more Gillislee and Moody to soften up that d-line before we think of sending Demps into the trenches regularly. Send Demps a few times early to test his foot and give the defense something to think about, but save him for the second half when Alabama has adjusted to Gillislee and Moody and has assumed Demps has been shut down.
