The vCash is what you use for betting in the Sports Book. Everyone starts out with 500 I believe and you can win or lose money based on your bets at the Sports Book.
The Points are earned by viewing threads, posting on other threads or creating a new thread (which is worth more). You can utilize these in the vbPlaza to do all kinds of stuff like change the color of your screen name, bold the title of a thread you started, etc.
