Great news, everyone! I finished remodeling my bathroom. Given how the Gators are doing now, I might spend my Saturdays remodeling the entire house.

(Of course, that likely would entail asking DJ to find and complete long passes to open reveivers--and his bring given time to DO so from an O-line that hasn't done that ONCE so far tonight!

I totally relate...as I remarked elsewhere in earlier comments today (around kickoff, as I recall), I rearranged my audio system, TRIED to set up my newly arrived Klipshe Soundbar only to discover the need for (and subsequently had to order) a digital-to-digital cable in order to properly incorporate new and older components in what I hope will eventually be a better sounding AND more flexible music-listening AND movie-watching experience in the same room, anywhere IN that room...but while that DID occupy the better part of what promised to be a (to me) MEANINGLESS Saturday of college football, it left me with little further distraction by the time this game was actually being played.
My poor luck/poor time-management (choose one).

Well, offense finally did enough to ACT like they might make a game of it there in the 3rd, but it LOOKS like all the time thet left the D out there in the first half is fully catching up to them now:
Looks like Canes are driving on them just when they HAD to. This was when WE needed this drive.
I REALLY do not want to hear more platitudes from Billy about "how CLOSE we are", "just a few plays from being undefeated" and all THAT rot.
And while I'm saying it, let me add something else:
Next Head Coach should be a shit-disturber, a sharp-tongued SMART-ASS! I guess that's PART of why I like Dan Lanning. Well, that and the fact that he wins--and does it with solid, well-envisioned yet wise open Offense. But he calls 'em as he sees 'em, too. Like Labe, he shoots ffom the hip--but usually hits a deserving "intended target", too, while gets at it.
And, while I was batching and moaning, DJ throws away his and OUR last chance in this one
...not exactly a game killer though: The 8 yards offense to their 80 yards in the 4th quarter pretty well took care of that.
This one ending more like it actually was fated to end, I guess: Close xcire until the inevitable fade at the end, thanks to "BILLY BALL".
Y'all know how I feel, where I stand.
It took me into Season Four, giving this guy every benefit of the doubt before I finally had had enough.
I leave it to YOU--as in ALL the "YOU's" out there who have suffered slomg as fans with me--and maybe, hopefully a few "YOU's" who have real direct input...The rest if us FANS can only speak out minds and "VOTE with our WALLETS".
But do NOT underestimate the power of BOTH:
Neither immediate nor clear, these DO still have a cumulative effect (more than ever now with the new defacto "pay-for-play" system).
So HOWL and SCREAM Gators.
WE ARE UNHAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT!
MAKE THAT CLEAR.
Let them KNOW.

The ONLY reason I'LL be back each gameday from here on is to show solidarity with YOU (Gator fans in general, yes, but mainly and especially those who read this now and know I am addressing them in particular).
If only to vent, seethe, together, OK?
This sure isn't the season ANY of us envisioned.

This is all this Coach can manage with his own pick of admittedly truly-talented players that comprise this moribund offense, the squad that he in particular built, designed and continues to oversee--In fact considers his specialty, therefore his responsibility: The main reason (by his own admission) he DOES this in the FIRST place.

@Leakfan12,
Agreed, bra' There is nothing positive to say about the offense--Nor at this point the Coach who hand-picked, built and designed it from the ground up over his first 3-plus YEARS here, supposedly with THIS season in mind as when it was all supposed to come together and WORK.
AT some point it is results, WINS, rather than words that must do YOURS AND your TEAM'S talking.
These losses ALSO tell a tale, do they NOT?
Unfortunately, THIS season has already gotten away from us--and in the process, I see OUR concerns have sadly already shifted from wins and losses out on the field Gamedays in 2025, but rather on to the minute and whispered details of "who, what, when, where, why and how much" this or that individual is (or is at least PERCEIVED to be) available or best suited for this or m(that job.
After four misses--"WE" HAVE to get it RIGHT this time...and by the way: Scott Strickland has GOTTEN IT WRONG too MANY times now...
I say "Fire HIM too!", but Escambia maintains that contractually somehow "we can't": I don't know that that is literally so, or just prohibitively expensive--but no matter what he must this time be left without any influence in the consideration and/or hiring of the NEXT Head Coach of the Gator Football Program!
(Oh--and as far as NEXT week's game goes, disappointing and underachieving as Arch has appeared thus far, OUR QB-1 and the once so-promising offense around him has if anything "OUT-SUCKED THEM ALL"!!!
I see little reason for much in the way of hope, let alone confidrnce in getting a needed "upset win" in that one.)
