Yeah--as I noted elsewhere here, he left with what amounted to a "veiled swipe" at the Coach, his real feelings and reasons couched between the lines in thanking "Coach Mullens and my brother players who know the real story..."--at least that was the gist of it from my P.O.V.
Didn't make it to first string at the "Star"-position on defense, fell further back by late in camp and into the season opener, decided to bail.
Not certain, but SOUNDS like a relatively late-loss of one more disgruntled kid who didn't quite fit the new regime. Part of all this is getting talented and driven young men who buy into the program and what the new Coach is selling.
