Heres a list of the Heisman Trophy winners since 2000 and their result in the National Championship game:

2000- Heisman winner: Chris Weinke - lost National Championship game
2001- HW: Eric Crouch- lost NC game
2002- HW: Carson Palmer- didn't even play in NC game
2003- HW: Jason White- lost NC game
2004- HW: Matt Leinhart- won NC game
2005- HW: Reggie Bush- lost NC game
2006- HW: Troy Smith- lost NC game
2007- HW: Tim Tebow- didn't even play in NC game
2008- HW: Sam Bradford- lost NC game

So this decade, only one person has won the Heisman and the National Championship in the same year...

Is there a curse? If so it might be great that Colt is the frontrunner right now...
