Man, this team is for real. Fsu, a top 10 team comes to the MAC and the GATORS take it to them:Banane29:
We got some great pitching from Locke and company. One of our sleeper pitchers is Tony Davis. He is a situation pitcher and he shut down their big guy.
Again we got excellent fielding and defense in general. Figueroa was perfect. Pigott in right field made a diving stab at a gapper and ended up stopping it with his throwing hand, unreal athlete. Barnes again showed how solid a player he is. He is also leading off and hitting and running bases well.
Another player emerging as a solid player is first year GATOR, Buddy Monroe at catcher. He blocked everything tonight and threw behind a double steal runner and got the 3rd out....I've never seen that before. A very heads up play.
Coach Sully....great job of managing this team. He is settling on a line up and not afraid to use some pitchers. I'm liking this guy more and more.
