GATORS #1 Seed in NCAA CWS

Good weekend to be in Gainesville and the games are only $10.

A year ago, Florida's softball team made it all the way to the College World Series for the first time before falling 1-0 to Texas A&M.The two CWS teams may not have to wait that long for a rematch.
The Gators (55-3) were picked as the nation's top seed and have virtually the entire squad back, led by ace pitcher Stacey Nelson.
UF will host Florida A&M (30-30), Lehigh (36-16-1) and Texas A&M (31-19) in regional play that starts Friday. Lehigh and Texas A&M will meet in the 3:30 p.m. opener of the double-elimination event and UF plays the Rattlers at 6 p.m.
If UF and A&M both win, they will clash on Saturday. The Aggies eventually lost to Arizona State in the national title game in 2008.
This is the second straight season that Florida was rewarded the No. 1 seed. The Gators won the SEC regular season and conference tournament for the second straight season.

Lete's see if they'll actually win the CWS this year. I don't know much about softball, but these girls have to be considered one of the best teams of all-time.
