Yeah, but it was because she was taunting him by sticking her pom-poms in his face. He didn't swing at her he just tried to push them out of the way. It's being blown way out of proportion and was actually her instigating it.

Noah was in the heat of the game with a ton of adrenaline flowing. There's no way he would throw a punch at a girl. He would have been kicked out of the game instantly.
