And now we only have the receivers who drop the ball--so it is pound it or bust.

On the bright side…. I got nothing…
Not that it is an excuse, but some of these receivers are getting their first meaningful snaps in 2-3 years on the team: Caleb Douglas, Daejon Reynolds, Marcus Burke, and Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman are all hitting double digit receptions for the first time.
We have just so amazingly stunk today.
And all things considered, I do not see us coming back here. We are a poor team, beaten and handicapped, having a bad day even for US.
I am glad they didn't interview Napier coming off the field at the half; I turned off the predictable Q and A with the Vandy Coach, but I would have likely SCREAMED AT THE SCREEN had I had to hear Billy talk about "effort" and "cleaning some things up"...
You and your guys weren't ready, Coach--and your game plan made little sense, especially considering our strengths--and on a cold day with a beat up and somewhat depleted (by dismissals, transfers AND injuries) squad!
My question would be, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??!" ...but at the moment, I really don't wanna hear from you at ALL.
Let's see what your TEAM shows us in the 2nd half. You embarrassed yoursrlves--and all of Gator Nation--in the first half.
Only by somehow turning this around and coming back to win somehow can you redeem yourselves in any way.

Well, Shorter is the only receiver we got out there now, really. Like I say, though, what happened on the conversion attempt is more what we can expect going forward from here.
