We're gonna be fine, long-term...So far, the two All Americans are our 2 hardest-to-replace--and EXPECTED ones at that. The rest are replaceable IMMEDIATELY with "AS good and-going-to-be-better". Take Reed: He HAS "potential", but he hasn't really reached it yet--and in a way, in bailing now, on a certain naked personal level he is admitting that maybe he never WILL--an attitude that we DON'T need OR want (along with that habit he has of jumping unnecessarily and, in that and other ways, taking himself OUT of prime-position to make-the-catch--then MISSING it ANYWAY, "gator-chomping" WAY too may passes right through his hands all season). KEE-Ryest!: Between unrealized-potential among our receivers, and all the penalties NEGATING the plays that WERE called and set-up right, that's maybe 50 of our hundred places-down in "offensive-rating" right THERE).
Let's see how it all shakes out at the "end" (ie. NSD), what we've got at that point, then (hopefully) what players AND coaches have learned about themselves , their jobs as individuals AND as a TEAM by the time we get from there to "The Orange and Blue Revue" (can't we just go back to "the Spring Game"?!!), then turn it and THEM all over to the capable hands and guidance of our SUPERB "Strength & Conditioning Guru".
I really meant that above: We're going to be OK--quite possibly a whole lot BETTER than THAT...
