WR moving to Safety

Yesterday Meyer said he spoke with a WR on the team about moving him to Safety. He didn't give a name, but people are saying it could be TJ Lawrence, a 6' 186 lb kid from Lakeland. He's at the bottom of the WR depth chart, but has a lot of talent so he could see the field faster if he moves to defense.

That makes sense. Riley Cooper's name was brought up a bit for this move, but I don't see Coach Meyer moving one of Tebow's main targets out of our receiving corps.

Another possibility could be Justin Williams. He played both WR and S in high school.

Justin Williams would be a good fit IMO. He could get a lot more playing time at S.

Yeah.

Unless he is that good at WR, he should move back to S so we can have more depth. As is, we are screwed if Wright, Black, or Hill go down.

i know it would never happen,but could you imagine tebow laying a hit on a wide out,he might be able to hit harder than todd johnson.

It is in fact T.J. Lawrence that will be moving to S. I like the move.
