"The Florida Gators aren’t getting rocked with the flu bug like some teams – Ole Miss reportedly practiced without 23 players today – but Urban Meyer and has staff is certainly monitoring his players and taking special precautions.
Meyer said that linebacker Brandon Hicks missed practice with flu-like symptoms and sat on the sideline with an IV. Freshman offensive lineman Nick Alajajian is down 10 pounds, and a member of the Florida staff is being all but quarantined in his office.
“We said, ‘If you’re here, you close your door,’” Meyer said. “We got to win a game.”
