Owligator trifecta: Gator coaches find new home at Temple

The Dazzler is getting the band back together, minus the front man. With Addazzio as HC, Chuck Heater as DC, and Scot Loeffler as OC maybe we will see a taste of what the Gators could have looked like in 2010.

Just out of sheer curiosity, I am going to watch the Temple Owls next year and ponder what could have been.

It'll be interesting to watch--I, for one, am hoping they'll do well, and have a feeling they will, on this lesser stage...big-fish-in-small-pond, ya know? Ironically, with Addazio "kicked upstairs" and relying on what we know are decent (VERY decent) coaches to accomplish the actual nuts-'n-bolts of putting a good team on the field, ready to play, may very well work a whole lot better than when HE was an OC for us, and so much of that was on HIS shoulders.
The son of one of my dad's officers, someone I liked and looked up to, went off to play at Temple when I was a kid, so I became a Temple fan (to a much lesser extent than I was a Gator, of course, which goes back as far as I can remember), and have followed them (mostly their futility) ever since. So this holds a certain strange "connection" for me.
