Does Billy get the message here? Can he adapt?
To ME, it sure looks like we need to open things up, open up a lead, force THEM to press in order to keep up...
Otherwise, we are gonna actually LOSE THIS in a "slow bleed" type of game. We have already left at least 8 points on the field!

I am HATING this:
It is just the kind of game I feared could develop--and as I say, exactly the kind of game we could Lose to this USF team.
I don't know what else to say.
Defense HAS to come through fir us now, just SHUT THEM DOWN.
DJ is going to have to sin it with his arm I think.
RBs are doing FINE, but offers too much opportunity for USF to slow things down, force 3's so far.
We are driving AGAIN.
It is a CRYING SHAME we are only up a 3... and now it's 4th and short at the 20 again.
Even I don't have a good feel for what the right call is here.
Take the 3? Do we have a play for this?
Is it worth the risk here at the 2-minute warning?
Looks they are thinking of going for it.
No--just a try to draw them off.
They're going for another 3.
This really is a gut-clencher.
Any chance USF tries to drive the field now?
Can our D get a gift?
(I am still muttering about that 2nd penslty/lost TD, by the way...).
They go for it, and WE LET them.
This does not look good, boys.
If EVER there were a time to get a takeaway, now is that time.

We are gonna give up another score here.
USF is better than ANYONE thought--and WE, on the other hand, are assuredly NOT.

Penalties, dropped passes, and missed tackles. I guess the only way to make these Gators look good is to threaten to fire Napier. Keep playing like this and that is what is going to happen.

Two scores called back due to penalties. No excuses. Piss poor tackling again.

Geez--now the D is getting in on the theme:
"Blowing it big time"
Again, so many missed tackles.
Like you say--"missed tackles and penalties" are gonna sink this season strangely EARLY, it seems.

Keep stating the obvious, Billy.
YES, we gotta "Do" a LOT of things, better and DIFFERENT!"

We MIGHT still pull this game out:
With the right adjustments both sides of the ball, our RBs ALL looking very good and DJ throwing DARTS as play has continued, the tools are there.
But this STILL just USF, no matter HOW "improved": There is no escapingvthe simple truth that a large portion of the opponents still on our schedule are likely substantially BETTER.
Even another "Magic Bye-Week" looks to be too late to save us from something south of 10-2, even 9-3.
I don't even wanna TRY going down that road.
Lets just stay at THIS week, THIS game.
Deal with whatever is right in front of us.
So: The 2nd half. 9-6 "lead", and we have marched the field repeatedly.
That coukd be useful later--AFTER we were to have a larger LEAD:
Lets get some quicker points--get (AT LEAST) A 10 point lead, THEN come the steady diet of Jaden Baugh, etc...But first, VB-3?

Meanwhile, Billy's little routine us wearing thin.
Shut up and have a plan, fir goodness sake.
But the offense is looking more anemic than EVER this time so far.
4th down from deep in our own end.
Here goes our SEASON, right before ourceyes.

And a Delay of Game penalty to bury us deeper.
Punter saves us. 63 yards!
But there's another flag.
PF against them.
Here's your chance, D.
Need a HERO.

This is slow death. We keep ALMOST taking control, but something happens eventually. HATE THAT.
I can't see this Gator team beating some of the programs ahead.
BUT we gained field position on that punt exchange; Maybe we can finally put up a TD that STAYS up.

All this talent, and Billy can't call a game that puts points up there?
The run ain't so effective anymore.
Um, you got DJ Lagway and a full room at WR, dude!
And DJ throws an INT.
Talk about "writing on the wall"!
The big turnover is by THEM.
AW, DAMN.
This one is now officially "going SOUTH"
(IF that wasn't already the case).
We will be LUCKY to get out of this one with a win. Against USF at HOME in the SWAMP!!!
I just do NOT wanna hear Billy Napier rationalizing this one no matter WHAT.
At thus point, just find a WAY, get outta here and SHUT UP UNTIL NEXT WEEK.

Here it comes, bad calls, bad plays, bad game for us BOTH sides of the ball.

We actually are playing bad enough now to LOSE thus game ourselves.
But doing just enough to stay in it thus far.
We have GOT to manage SOMR kind of drive now. Another poor starting point.
Gonna HAVE to turn to DJ, regardless. They have somewhat caught up to our running game.
Baugh still running hard, but will still need DJ to pull this out.
And now SLAIGHTER gets s crucial holding call.
This is just a complete recipe fir disaster.
We have the players. Here's Trey Wilson with the big catch and run.
MORE penalties.
This is the opposite of last week's performance.
Come ON, Gators.
We need to have a proper LEAD by the time we sing "Won't Back Down"!
But we come up short again.

So many yards gained, to little avail.
Will beg one more time:
PLEASE, D.
We NEED a spark so BADLY.
