So we go to the 4th, about to lose the lead--and by the way our offense played in the 3rd, probably for GOOD.
Strange how it's almost as if our Defense arrived just as our offense decided to split.
But that's the nature of "the team that Billy built".
Up'n'down throughout the games, throughout the seasons.

So, in the end, we played one decent half of football--but somewhat predictable was our complete fade in the 2nd half.
I dunno what's gonna come next, but it continues to be difficult to HOPE for anything good ahead.
Only the (to me, unlikely) fulfillment of the whispered "DONE DEAL" can lift the seeming "eternal dark cloud" we lately appear to be operating under.
