I am hurting like we just lost our shot at a Championship.

Close but no banana for the Gators. Most of the game is more watchable than previous outings, even with the injuries. No excuses.

We did not learn much about the team’s ability to win without Napier other than a lack of stupid time out calls.

Well, we DID see that WITHOUT Napier and DJ without his 3 top WRs, AND without various other much-touted starting talent all over the field it STILL took some help from the officials fir UGA to beat us at the very end.
"No excuses"? Agreed, but damnit, I sure would have liked to see how it might have played out had we played on, 1st and ten down at their end of the field, had the officials ruled properly in the first place on that "white gloves under the ball" completion!
Maybe we win, maybe we lose ANYWAY--but at least I don't end up with this ache in my gut.
Yes, "most watchable" of the last several--certainly in the Napier era, but DAMN:
I really didn't expect to GIVE this much of a heap!
They made me CARE.
I don't know whether to praise them or be angry about it.

Ah well. Am settling down now.
I will NOT be watching more games or any after-the-fact commentary tonight...
Will find a movie or something, eat snd drift off.
That's my plan at any rate.
There'll plenty of time tomorrow for "reaction" and the latest bs regarding "WHAT IT ALL MEANS".
