Backup QB John Brantley's broken hand continues to heal and needs at least another week before he can rejoin his teammates in full conditioning.

I am thinking he will not ever transfer. He knew what he was getting into going into UF.
He decommitted from Texas to go to UF. He is actually in a great spot, a FR, who in my opinion should be the starting QB the second Tebow graduates so he will a 2 yr starter.
He should be #2 at the start of the seaaon.

It's hard to say Brantley is better then Newton when John hasn't even stepped on the field yet.
