"Everyone knew who and what they were at this time a year ago. The Florida Gators were well-defined.
They were the national champions. They were Tim and Brandon and the rest of the boys loading up for a strong title defense.
A year later, this is a very different Florida team. Tim Tebow and Brandon Spikes are gone, along with a handful of talented seniors and five top juniors.
The 2010 Gators, who make their debut Saturday in The Swamp, have a bunch of new starters, four new assistant coaches (including one new coordinator) and a head coach who just recently returned from a leave of absence.
This is a young and talented team. This is also a team early in the search for an identity on offense , on defense — and overall."
