  • Florida trails the all-time series with Kentucky, 84-31, but has experienced its greatest success over the past four seasons, having won seven consecutive meetings.
  • The Gators are the only school in SEC history to have won seven consecutive games against Kentucky, and with its victory on Jan. 19 in the first meeting this season between the two, became just the second school (joining Notre Dame) to defeat Kentucky seven straight times.

wow, we have to win the SEC tourney, or at least get to the championship game in style if we even dream of having a chance at the NCAA tourney
