Florida junior Dorian Finney-Smith has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules, the school announced an hour and a half before the Gators host Vanderbilt. The release also said that the forward would miss “likely more games.”
Finney-Smith has been eligible to play at Florida for two seasons and has been suspended twice, beginning the 2013-14 season on a suspension. He returned and was named SEC Sixth Man of the Year last season.
This year, Finney-Smith is second on the team while averaging 12.9 points per game. Leading scorer Michael Frazier (13.2 points) remains out with a high ankle sprain.
Donovan will address the topic after the game against the Commodores.
