• The University of Florida is making its eighth appearance in the NIT, and its first since 1998...UF has a 7-9 overall record in NIT play and reached the semifinals in both 1986 and 1992
• The Gators are playing in postseason for the 11th consecutive year - nine NCAA Tournaments and two NIT appearances
• UF and Creighton have met twice before with Creighton winning both times...They met in 1996 with the Blue Jays taking a 74-73 decision and met most recently in the First Round of the 2002 NCAA Tournament with Creighton taking an 83-82 double overtime decision

Not much to fear from the 4th best team in the MVC, Gators size will make game similiar to SDSU game, a little more offense from the Blue Jays will put this in 79-70 range, unless (which they've done a few times this yr) really slow down the tempo- if our guard discipline holds- 54-48.:gator:
