This is not the same team known for their highly productive offense. They lost the architect of that offense and replaced him with a DC. They also lost their starting and backup QB and their top 3 receivers from last year.

This is a VERY different Hawaii team.

Whats awful is that our DEFENSE is ranked #1 in the WAC, when the hell did we get known for defense? Thank you Leak, you are right, we lost a lot of offensive weapons. We have some good backups that are coming in, but for the most part, this offense will be totally different!

so its not gonna be like a 50:1 pass:rush ratio like it has been for the past few years for hawaii?

No you are going to see more like a 40:20 pass to rush ratio. We have a better core of running backs this year round. Plus we have a brand new quareterback in the system. He is doing great in practices but he hasn't played in the big times yet. He tore up the JC circuit, but we will see how he does out there in the big league!
