"When Spikes wasn't busy calling Tebow a "prophet" for last year's promise speech -- "He said it, and we got it done" -- he talked about his decision to return to school. Some experts say Spikes passed up first-round money to return to Gainesville. Spikes certainly isn't denying the reality of that decision.
"A kid, 20, 21 years old, I had a chance to go to the big leagues and I didn't take it and you think about getting hurt or whatever you can accomplish," Spikes said. "I just think about my family. We sat down and we felt I could benefit by coming back."
