The more I've looked into and considered it, the more I found myself quietly hoping we WOULD bring Pease in--apologies to E94, who is suspicious of this hire from what I recall, but as far as the parameters I had for the next OC--young, innovative, visionary, up-and-coming, having his own ideas of a flexibly unique offensive mix AND apparently able to complement a strong-willed and passionate Head Coach--this guy best fit the bill of everyone out there I am currently aware of. Provided this is good intel and he makes it official tomorrow (Wed.), now we'll see.

Gotta agree, G-villeb&r--while I like KB a lot and foresee him eventually coming to UF, as I've said before, he has more experience to gain, more different situations and people to be exposed to before he'll be ready to run a whole Bigtime Offense from the top down--and judging by how this all went down (and him "amicably" withdrawing his OWN name from consideration), I believe even he is realizing that.
No, the more I've looked into and considered this hire, the more I feel Pease could very well turn out to be "the right guy" this time...and best of all, as I noted in the "...hired at UF" article's comments section, he had the chance to run the offense at the National Champion's program--and chose to be a Gator, instead. I LIKE it, and I'll give him some extra support just for THAT.
