FINALLY: NCAA set to rule on SOW

Looks like those suckers got off easy; they're only being forced to vacate wins from 2006-07 as well as lose 5 football scholarships

That punishment is mainly for Bowden and his race with Paterno, not the university.

I agree that they got off easy. Future punishment (losing scholarships) is much harsher than punishment of the past (vacating wins).

And then their AD (Spetman) says "vacating wins is wrong". So is cheating, you fool.

Hey, let the noles reap what they sow. This happened back in 2006, and it took this long for the NCAA to issue a ruling? I still smell a rat.

According to ESPN, they (f$u) have 90 days to decide which wins will be vacated. Seeing that nearly half of the players caught cheating were football players, it would only be fair that those wins where players involved in the cheating were playing be forfeited.

A school can run, but they can't hide from the NCAA. Welcome to four years of probation, f$u.

At least they keep their 1993 and 1999 titles (which should be taken away by the way). Also the Gators didn't get to choose their punishment in the mid 1980's. Maybe the NCAA should have the :censored: hammer drop on them for a :censored: change. Especially if they allow FSU to slide.
