St. Augustine kicker Caleb Sturgis committed to Florida late Friday night after Florida's Friday Night Lights football camp.

Coach Urban Meyer and co-defensive coordinator Greg Mattison spoke with Sturgis and his parents to seal the verbal commitment.

"(Meyer) just said it's good to have you as a Gator," Sturgis said. "I grew up a Florida fan so it's always been my dream."
