Speights projects as a mid- to late-first-round pick, with the Jazz drafting at No. 23. Even with Kyrylo Fesenko on the roster, the Jazz would not be shy about taking on another big man project, according to Walt Perrin, the team's vice president of player personnel.
"I don't know anybody at [pick] 23 who can come in this year and get a lot of minutes with the team we have coming back," Perrin said. "If he can step on the court for five, 10, maybe 15 minutes a game and give us what we want, that's great.
"But if we see that he's a guy we have to work with for a year, two years, we have no problems with that because our team is pretty well set right now anyway."
