GAINESVILLE -- The Tim Tebow T-shirts are flying off store shelves and Tebow talk has inundated the Internet.
It is all Tebow, all of the time, for Florida's football faithful.
Monday, Tebow was named the Southeastern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Gators' 30-24 win at Mississippi on Saturday.
Tebow accounted for 427 yards of total offense, including running the football 27 times for 166 yards, a school record for quarterbacks. He also threw for 261 yards and two TDs in addition to his two touchdowns running.
Tebow had career-highs in completions (20), attempts (34) and rushing attempts. The 427 yards of total offense is the best in the SEC this season. In addition to all the numbers, he carried the team at the end by running the football a dozen times in the final quarter and running out the clock against a Mississippi team trying to pull off an upset.
