To try and stave off the doldrums until two-a-days start, I thought I'd take a shot at something a little more humourous ala the gang at EDSBS (but trying to keep it at a PG-13 level). I've been watching so much tennis lately, I'm (1) itching to get back on the court and (2) close to turning into a dirty old lady apt to proposition one of those cute young men for a little afternoon delight. In spite of that, I've been able to scrounge up a few little football tidbits:
You guys may be the Florida Felons, but we're the CRIMINOLES and don't you forget it: After this latest transgression by one of Booby's Boyaz, Janoris Jenkins' little escapade appears to be nothing more than acting like a bad little boy getting into a fight on the school playground. Could this be the last hurrah for the Grand Poobuh? Some message-board regs are asking whether or not Saint Bobby will finally let Jimbo Fisher have the conn in light of the NCAA ruling on the cheating scandal - or will he wait until 2010 so that the Clown College won't have to cough up $5M to pay Jim-Boy?

Anyway, what the rumor-mongers don't want to hear is that Charlie Cheeseburger has one of the easiest schedules in 2009, which could have Notruh-Dahhm headed to a BCS bowl (read on: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/cory_mccartney/06/19/notre-dame/index.html )- and wouldn't this Gator love to see that. Hell, I'll order up plenty of deep-fried crow entrees to ship to these bumbling bloggers if they haven't purchased mechanical-breakdown insurance once the mills go kaputt (and there's a certain few of their ilk who I won't name here whose din-din I feel like spiking with Ex-Lax!) Should he succeed in doing so, somebody please keep a Mickey D's open 24 hours in South Bend.

Well, that took the edge off for a little bit; I'm still waiting for the two-a-day schedule to come out. And to the hoteliers in Hoggetowne: One of you save a room for me for my next R&R sometime in August, along with a nice cold frozen banana daiquiri.
