For the most part it was rival fans talking trash. One word sums it all up: JEALOUSY.

My response would be similar to BigGator on Rivals.com. It is jealousy. UF draws the ire of other fans, but more importantly, it draws good recruits even in bad years. This has been true for 20+ years.
