Our Brutal 2019 Football Schedule

Considering ESPN’s 2019 preseason FPI rankings to say that the Gators schedule is daunting is a bit of an understatement. Of the top 10 ranked teams we play three-Auburn, LSU and Georgia. In the top 25 teams we play a total of seven with Tennessee, South Carolina, Missouri and Florida State making up the remaining four in that order. Especially tough will be the four weeks from Oct 5 through November 2 during which we will face Auburn, LSU in Baton Rouge, South Carolina in Columbia and Georgia in Jacksonville. Fortunately our young OLine will have received five games of experience prior to running that gauntlet. I’m still of a mind that we can beat Georgia and be atop the SEC East with a shot at the playoffs.
