Gonna say it "one more time":
I keep hearing the long-since-obvious point being hammered on over and over again, reiterated in so many ways now for MONTHS!
Yeah yeah yeah:
This 2024 Gator schedule is just SO DIFFICULT.
One of the hardest EVER. And yes, I BELIEVE it. All us Gators DO. However you want to break it down, by any analysis.
Especially that last FIVE games against the cream of the SEC, plus our longtime riss state rival.
But all WE can do is to play it out, one game at a time...and that schedule BEGINS with another "cross state rival" (well, "downstate rival" to be precise): Miami.
UM, whom we USED to play early, often FIRST each season "back in the old days", but for us now is the renewal of the rivalry.
And here's the thing:
Whatever ELSE we can manage to make of ourselves here and now, whatever this team can manage to carve out of the huge challenge ahead that the season and its schedule represents, I think we all recognize that it all FIRST depends on our coming out of this particular GAME ONE with the "W".
That's it. I have nothing more profound or insightful to offer at this point than that.
Win, and we will SEE--we go on from there and determinedly work our way through and UP to that last challenging stretch.
But it all begins at THE BEGINNING:
This time, it really IS "WIN, or ELSE."
