The humidity of the University of Florida Gators' early September home games won't seep through the screen, but the designers of the new college football video game coming out this week tried to make even the weather more realistic for players.
EA Sports will release NCAA Football 08 on Tuesday, and - with an Internet connection - players will be able to experience real-time weather in the game as well as access live scores of games being played in reality.
During a telephone interview, Jeff Luhr, the game's head designer, pitted the University of Florida Gators and the Florida State University Seminoles together in an advance copy of the game.
