Ingram Named to John Mackey Award Watch List

University of Florida tight end Cornelius Ingram (Hawthorne, Fla.) was named to the 2008 John Mackey Award watch list as announced by the Nassau County Sports Commission on Thursday. Ingram is among 31 players named to the preliminary list.

Given annually to the best collegiate tight end, the award recipient is selected by vote of the John Mackey Award Selection Committee and announced in mid-December.

Ingram has just as good of a chance as any TE to win this award. If he can work on his blocking a little, he could be a top TE in the NFL Draft next year.
