How important is the Vandy game?

How important is the Vandy game to this team's morale? What if the Gators lose 4 of their last 5 games. That's like a new all-time low. This is almost a must win game just so people don't start calling for Meyer's head.

All-time low??? How long have you been around Gator football?? Probably longer than me since I'm a teenager but I do remember my parents going to school when we were 0-10-1 or something like that. Maybe the lowest we have been since Spurrier arrived. But I do believe it is very important we win for a few reasons:

1. Give our team confidence that everything will be alright and we can still win (they are young remember)
2. Help recruiting a bit (wins and losses shouldn't matter but if they think we are going to end up like UM and FSU it will effect recruiting a bit)
3. It will give us much needed momentum for next season.
4. The game is at home. We already lost once in The Swamp this year and that is too much already. We should NEVER, EVER, lose at home.

In college football, every game is important, wheather you play basket st to ohio st to lsu and auburn...point is, it doesn't matter, you should go out there with the intentions on winning.

Vandy is a scary opponent of course its important. Ole Miss was supposed to be a push over and we barely hung on there

It is important, and our team knows it. And trust me, we will come out hungry and ready to go and play well in my opinion. Now I saw we would give up 42 and score 49 but I could see us playing some great defense this Saturday, too.:bananapowerslide:
