Other tidbits:
– Interesting that Florida redshirt freshman Cody Larson was on the field when the Gators were recognized for winning the 2011 SEC regular season title after the first quarter of the Tennessee game. All signs point toward Larson’s reinstatement, though nothing has been officially announced about his indefinite suspension. Also, sophomore center Patric Young provided a nice touch by ripping his shirt off for the crowd.
– It’s coming down to the wire for five-star 2012 recruit Kyle Anderson, who visited Florida over the weekend. SNY’s Adam Zagora is reporting that Anderson, a 6-foot-8 point guard/forward from Fairview, N.J., will announce his commitment on Tuesday. Zagora said Seton Hall will get the last in-home visit on Monday night. UCLA also is making a late push for Anderson, who has been compared to Magic Johnson because of his combination of size and court vision.
