No surprise from McCalister since he got the boot from the team.
Yeah, but as for the rest, well, it just keeps getting "better and better", don't it??? I understand and expected it in Vernon's case--and more power to him. But aside from McAllister's obvious situation, in those 2 other cases it's kind of a "Huh?!!" deal. I mean, Taylor has mostly underachieved here so far--SERIOUSLY so--and Robinson has actually more or les DEvolved this past season. He showed amazing talent and promise LAST year, albeit with a propensity for dropping the ball (especially the well-placed long ball at key moments), then showed less and less consistency this year. Neither seems primed to have impressed NFL scouts. But we've GOT potentially at LEAST as talented and more consistent (if so far less experienced, of course) guys at both positions already, even before seeing what our recruiting brings in--so though it further ups our "young and thin"-factor, hey: It was already shaping up to be that kind of team and year in 2016 ANYWAY, right?

McAllister allegedly got the boot for contacting an agent, so we knew he was leaving. He had to go into the draft.

Robinson has peaked as an athlete, which is sad, because without marijuana and academics getting in the way he had more ceiling. He should have stayed a year, but he could have been a liability again with marijuana and academics.

Taylor is at his peak value as one of the top running backs for this draft. Next year he would be fighting Derrick Henry and Leonard Fournette, plus a couple dark horses for top RB billing.
