Brantley vs. Newton

The battle for backup QB could be the best position battle this fall. I think Urban has said a few weeks ago that Cam is the backup, but that doesn't mean things won't change. Cam has the experience, but everybody loves Brantley's arm.

How do you see this scenario playing out? Who will be the #2 man on opening day?

I think Newton hangs on to the number 2 spot. I like Brantley too, but Cam should be the back-up.

I also see Cam rebounding from his bad showing at the O&B game and reclaiming the backup spot.

I remember hearing about Newton running over Brandon Spikes in practice last year... so I think he will be our #2 on opening day, and hopefully he will be put in to run the ball instead of Tebow

I think Cam will be the #2 QB, but I think Urban Meyer should atleast give Brantley some snaps when we play lower teams such as Citadel. So he can get some in-game experience

One of my favorite plays from last season was when Cam ran over the LB from Tennessee. It completely pumped up the entire football team.
