#80 Chris Faulkner from Arcadia, Indiana played for Doug Dickey and Charley Pell from 1978 to 1982, where he was was both an honorable mention All-American and first-team All-SEC selection during his Florida career despite being a former walk-on. He still shares the Gator record for most catches in a game by a tight end (nine). He finished his college career with 71 receptions for 752 yards and eight touchdowns, despite splitting time with Mike Mularkey. With Faulkner and Mularkey at tight end, Coach Pell was able to move future Gator Great Wilber Marshall to linebacker, which turned out well for all three players! He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 1983 NFL Draft.
