58 – Johnny Rutledge
Johnny Boykins Rutledge III played linebacker for Steve Spurrier’s Florida Gators from 1995 to 1998. Johnny was a key member of the fearsome 1996 Bowl Alliance National Championship team defense anchored by fellow Gators Jevon Kearse, Mike Petersen, James Bates, and Reggie McGrew. In 1997 & 1998 he was one of the few bright spots on teams that lost to rivals Georgia, Tennessee and FSU. He was named 2nd team All SEC his junior year, and 1st team All SEC his senior year. Johnny was a 2nd round draft pick for the Arizona Cardinals in 1999.
