Is he even on our team anymore? Has he come back quietly to sit on the end of the 3rd-string bench somehow, and just no one CARES???
CAN SOMEONE WITH BETTER BACKDOOR INFO THAN I PLEASE FILL US IN?
Apparently few seem to care either way: I remind y'all that he was one of our budding offensive stars who came into the year with a whole lot of upside; he went down in the first half of Game 1, bounced up holding his left forearm (as I recall it) and trotted off the field to much attention on the sideline: tent, to lockerroom...to oblivion. Hasn't been back since. We USED to get werkly updates--but by now, Game 7, we are hearing NADA.
Unless the arm's fallen off, we NEED this kid, at least with the offensive skills he was steadily revealing and developing up until that Game 1.
SO: WTF???
If you have any word (or at thjs point, even a well-founded THEORY, PLEASE share it here? In these days of "program-to-fan News Spoon Fed", this is a very strange seeming "dropped-ball breakdown in sports reporting". I feel like a weird dork-nerd even plaintively asking y'all this way--but there it is.
