The key games this week include the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party and some other games that I will probably be too drunk to watch.

UPDATE: I was on an airplane for most of the day, so I missed most of the WLOCP. I incorrectly predicted a Gator upset over the Leghumpers. Congratulations to Kansas, Arizona, and Georgia Tech for upsetting ranked teams.

Looking ahead post-Georgia, I hope nutso Gator Nation fans out there can manage to step back and, in keeping with Billy's specific focus/FORE-warning in his latest presser as we turn to the Razorbacks game:
(1) Appreciate what's behind the whole "Black Out" thing--The spotlight of thanks swung and focused onto our armed services and first-responders, and
(2) The fact that we are facing a scrappy, tight and hard-working Arkansas team whose actual record does NOT reflect how very CLOSE they've been in EVERY game (including 3-point losses to the likes of LSU and Alabama--and a slew of less-than-one-score-losses elsewhere). Where WE have been dramatically up and down, THEY have been more consistently, fightingly CLOSE throughout the season thus far.
As Coach warns, and others on the Gator beat likewise have been repeating, this is no "gimme".
I hate to say it, but we must be ready to FIGHT OUR GUTS OUT this week in the Swamp...
It may well BE our last chance to get Bowl-eligible and granted those 15 additional practices PLUS valuable exposure during what amounts to the "final stretch" on the recruiting trail.
I sure am glad it's at home.
