The Gators appear to be a second-half adjustment team. They definitely do not like the first quarter, but they have shown that they can adjust in the second and third quarters. Kentucky will try to control the clock on most downs with occasional shots over the top, so I expect that game to look like this Tennessee game but with a better passer and a better defensive line.

Clearly you are right—That’s DEFINITELY been our pattern so far: Our “Saving Grace”, really.
Making the UK game, on the road against a squad and program that is further along in its overall ongoing development, even MORE “dangerous” to us and OUR WEAKNESSES and inconsistencies than Tennessee was coming into OUR place.
All the MORE reason we will have to come out early and probably have to weather an early onslought from their offense AND their home-CROWD.
We can expect a furious attack right from the start!
But if we can at least keep it CLOSE early, Mullen and Co. really ARE good at “wholesale adjustments at the half” to turn things around...They see and MAKE the right ones, and this team RESPONDS, responds WELL! Long as we are fairly close we can pretty well rest ASSURED: We’ll get it TURNED AROUND.
We’ve been “living dangerously”, it’s true—but thus far we have been able to keep it “manageably retrievable” (even against Alabama: “...woulda shoulda COULDA!!!”).
